Can the box run without internet?

Yes. The Sovereign AI Box is designed for default deny outbound networking. Local model inference, agent runtime, and observability all operate without an internet connection. Optional egress, such as Claude Code with API access or vendor model providers, is firewalled to only the destinations you explicitly authorize.

What models come pre installed?

A curated set of open weight models suited to your workloads, served via Ollama. We typically ship with a general purpose chat model, a coding model, and an embeddings model, then tune the selection with you during deployment. You can swap or add models at any time and we document the procedure in the runbook.

Do you offer financing?

Setup is invoiced as a one time charge in the eight to fifteen thousand range, and most clients pay it as a single line item. Monthly support is billed separately and can be cancelled at any time. We can structure milestone billing across the deployment if that helps cash flow.

What is in the box.

Hardware

Workstation class server with discrete GPU sized to your inference load. Ryzen or Epyc compute, 64 to 256 GB RAM, NVMe storage with mirror. Quiet enough for an office, robust enough for production.

Software stack

Linux base, Ollama for local inference, LiteLLM proxy, your choice of open models, agent runtime, optional Claude Code with API egress firewalled to Anthropic only.

Network isolation

VLAN separated, default deny outbound. The only egress is the destinations you explicitly authorize. Nothing leaks to vendor telemetry, model providers, or third party monitoring.

Monitoring you control

Prometheus and Grafana installed locally, dashboards visible to your operators only. Optional encrypted tunnel for our remote support, on a switch you can flip off.

Documented operation

Every system has a runbook. Backup, restore, patching, model updates, capacity planning. Your team can operate the box without us if they choose to.
